It's a 5.5gb file so I guess I will have to do the extended. I really dont mind refomrating its just that I had some important text documents and other files that I cant get back without recoving them some how. Did a quick search and here was the fix. I know it wasn't necessary to give that much info but I love saying. So while your drive might be 160GB in total, no single file can be larger than 4GB with FAT32. When I try to do this, I get an error message: "Sorry, the operation could not be completed because an unexpected error occurred. (Error code 0)." I can't find anything that I slicked the external hard drive and formatted it as FAT32 so I could read & write on both a PC and Mac if I need.
