Be aware of the health partition. I have VAIO model VPCEA12EG. Vaio PC's has a tool called VAIO Recovery Center. you can. more info here

- If you have your recovery disks than it should work without your recovery partition.

I have discs for the OS but don't know how/when to use them. Install windows as normal and then use the recovery option to put all back in the right place (your licensed windows with all drivers and software).
