You canchange it into one of domain administrators to do a test. I clicked on each SQL Service and changed the Log On as credentials. You cannot post IFCode. you must try access the log with the user is running sql server....

The steps in this article work in SQL 2005, 2008, 2008 R2, 2012, 2014 and 2016. Since you are in SQL2K8 you have default groups in windows, just add the service account to these SQL default groups and then give a try. Cmdlets with FeatureDependencyId are not registered.
